Born and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Ed is proud to be the third generation of rest home owners / operators in his family and has grown up in the assisted living industry. After college, his first position with the family business was stripping and waxing floors in his family’s rest homes. Ed follows the belief of his father, John Weeks, that one cannot be an effective administrator until he has performed every role in the facility.

After several years, Ed worked to receive his Assisted Living Administrator License.

In 2008, Ed and his family had the vision and opportunity to open a free-standing Alzheimer’s / Dementia Special Care Facility in Cumberland County. Ed continues to work on-site and is proud to be available, not only for the residents of Eastover Gardens, but for their families, as well.

Beth first began working with the Weeks family in 2001 as an Office Manager in their Corporate Office. In 2006 she took over administrative duties in the business office of one of the rest homes within the company. After working there a short while, Beth discovered that her passion was in direct resident care, rather than behind a desk. In 2008 she decided to pursue a degree in nursing so that she might better serve the residents and their families. While in school, Beth worked as a consultant to Eastover Gardens.

She graduated as a Registered Nurse in May, 2011, immediately took and passed her boards, and has returned to us as full-time Director of Nursing.
